After service to his country through search and rescue operations with the U.S. Coast Guard, Michael Bouthillette became a leading Providence, Rhode Island, contractor in the facilities services field. He provides homeowners and businesses with remodeling, restoration, and other services as the president of Certified Facility Solutions. In addition, Michael Bouthillette owns Certified Disaster Restoration, which renders 24-hour emergency-repair and disaster-response assistance. The National Veteran-Owned Business Association certified both of these companies.

Mr. Bouthillette also operates other contracting businesses, such as the industrial and commercial cleaning servicer Intercity Maintenance. As the president of Bouthillette Realty, he acquires and develops residential properties in Providence, Lincoln, and other Rhode Island areas. Mr. Bouthillette performs these duties as a partner with the Cumberland-based Beverage Hill Properties as well.

A donor to the Knights of Columbus, Mr. Bouthillette is the creator of the Lincoln Preteen Football Organization. The group offers football and cheerleading activities for youth. At home, he enjoys chopping firewood and caring for his lawn, as well as scuba diving and snorkeling.
